The northern part of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, is rich in history with over 900 years old forts and exploring heritage and will take you back to the past and gain insight into how the ancestors of this region lived in the harsh climate region. Hunza Edelweiss tours provide an opportunity to visit the most stunning and historic forts, Baltit and Altit forts, of Hunza and Shigar fort in Baltistan. These iconic forts provide an understanding of the history of this region, as well as its culture and traditions.

Southern Pakistan has a heritage of old civilizations. Mohenjo-Daro is an archaeological site built around 2500 BCE; it was the largest settlement of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Mohenjo-Daro was abandoned in the 19th century BCE as the Indus Valley Civilization declined, and the site was not rediscovered until the 1920s. The Bronze Age Harappan civilisation is now more often called the Indus Valley Civilisation. The core of the Harappan civilization extended over a large area, from Gujarat in the south, across Sindh and Rajasthan and extending into Punjab and Haryana. With our tours, visitors can have access to knowledgeable guides who can explain the significance of each place they visit. This can help them better understand the history behind each site they visit, making their experience even more enriching.
